  1. T-Mo Racing

T-Mo Team Rider - Jayden Randell

The season is well underway and I’ve raced the first three rounds of the British National Enduro Series (BEMBA/BNES) and the first round of the European Continental Series in Spain. All new for this year is the British National Enduro Series which holds six independently run Enduro events around the country. Each Enduro race has a practice day on the Saturday and racing on the Sunday. It ranges from 4 to 8 stages and an average of 60km to 100km of riding over the weekend. The winner is the person who has the fastest overall time in their category. 150 points for first, 125 for second and 110 for third, and they cascade to lower numbers the further you are down the field. Stages are predominantly downhill and on varying terrain. Your best five rounds out of the six count towards the overall at the end of the season. So, round one at Afan on the 14th April couldn’t have gone any better as I took the win after 5 rocky, loose and physical stages. Next up was the first round of the European Continental Series in Salines Spain on the 28th April. This was my first experience of racing abroad. This trip wasn’t so much about results, but gaining experience in different terrain and conditions. Once back from Spain, It was straight into Round 2 of the British National Enduro Series at Graythwaite on the 5th May. 7 stages and a third place for me at the end of a long weekend battling the Norths finest roots and techy trails! Skip forward a few weeks and I’m back racing at the third round of the British National Enduro Series at Minehead on the 26th May. This was the first time heading South this year and we were fortunate that it was a dry weekend, which meant the trails could show off their loamy goodness which is a favourite for all the riders! I took the second step on the box, which means after the first three rounds I’m leading the series with 385 points. But it’s far from over and it’s tight at the top. I plan to drop the next round in Scotland due to GCSE’s, but I’ll be at the Malvern’s Classic from the 14th to the 16thJune, which I will be racing the Enduro and Dual Slalom events. It should be a great weekend and a perfect way to celebrate the end of my exams! T-Mo Racing, MTB Racing, Enduro   Want to keep up with everything Jayden is up to? 3. Plus Size Jerseys for Larger Riders

    Plus-size cycle gear

16th Oct, 2017 Is by no means the easiest thing in the world to find.  It can certainly be a frustrating and costly search for the right findings. Plus size jerseys for larger riders are for those who measure larger than average in the chest, neck and shoulder areas, you're considered a 'big person' to us little 'uns.   Such people do not fit in the standard sized cycling apparel and mostly face the problem of finding the perfect fit for them and luckily, we understand the struggle is real. MENS SIZE GUIDEGenerally our branded and custom jerseys come up bigger than most others on the high-street anyway; they're not hugely different, we're just not followers of the skin tight 'can you see what I had for breakfast'  Italian look.  Because we're in control of all stages of production - from design to print, it means we're able to create your jersey accordingly.  Even the non custom, website jerseys!  We can offer larger sizes from X-XXXXL!! Our standard biggest size is a 2XL and as we've stated we can go up to 4XL however this will incur a small surcharge due to extra material and template alterations.  We're still the most genuine on the market in regards to price and delivery.     It may also be good for our female riders reading to know - we already go up to size 18 (XXL), but the same size options are available up to 4XL for you too.  Ladies cycle wear is a topic that has been brought to our attention numerous times, problematic issues such as: sizing, availability, style and design (all equally important as one another), must be researched correctly in order to create the ideal women's jersey - and that's just not happening. Big brand cycle manufacturers currently produce cycle gear for homogeneous groups; they don't put in the extra mile in order to produce for the variety of people within each cycle category - though their interests are the same, their genetics aren't!  It seems their 'women's wear' is just a spin off, of existing male designs, and is just made female friendly by changing the colour of each design.WOMENS SIZE GUIDE Being bigger often brings other issues too, like longer arm and torso length, which means a standard XXL jersey often won't have long enough sleeves and likely too short on the body.  But don't worry, we've got that covered as well - all you have to do is have a look at our size charts when ordering and enquire about these things.  Probably best to go by a jersey you know fits like a glove, compare it to our charts and go from there. Note:  make your size decisions while sitting in the saddle and not standing up. Cycling gear is designed for the cycling position, not standing. *Chest: Measure across the fullest part just under the arms *Arm: Measure around the thickest part of your bicep *Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your midsection *Hips: Measure around the fullest part You may also be interested in custom Recumbent Bike jerseys...

  4. Whisky Cycling Jerseys

    Scottish Whisky Jerseys

For 2017 we decided to introduce a couple of new brands to our collection of already existing whisky cycle jerseys - and of course with an office full of 'non' professional alcoholic beverage tasters, we knew  these distilleries were a no brainer! Whisky [wiski] (Noun) 1.  The term whisky comes from the Gaelic 'uisge beatha', or 'usquebaugh', meaning 'water of life'. Gaelic is that branch of Celtic traditionally spoken in the Highlands of Scotland.   NEW ARBEG 2017 - FRArdbeg Distillery creates a new look for 2017! A distillery much more aged than others, isolated on a small and remote Scottish Isle - Islay.  A place where dreams come true; through the advice of a pal or following the lead of a non ignorable aroma.  The only way to understand this feeling we're describing, is to venture along the winding road from Port Ellen, knock back a dram with a breeze through your hair.   ARRAN BLOG IMAGE Arran Distillery creates its first distillery cycle jersey! You are probably well aware, we are very big whisky fans at TCJ to say the least!  Designing and stocking some of Scotland's biggest whisky brands from  coastal islands - Isle of Skye and the Isle of Islay, which of course are home to iconic single malts including: Ardbeg, Bruichladdich and Talisker. Today, the Distillery is the only one on Arran!  Celebrating its 21st anniversary in June 2016 and throughout its years has produced a variety of ages and expressions.  The distillery also created a historic moment in 1998; opening their first cask of Arran Single Malt Scotch Whisky, also making it the first legal dram on Arran for over 160 years! Whilst making whisky is a slow process, life on Arran runs to its own rhythm.  As well as being home to the only distillery - there's also plenty of cycle routes to explore and an annual Malt & Music Festival. So you can mix your two loves together and enjoy a post-ride ritual with a recovery session including a dram!   RASSAY -FRThe Isle of Rassay Distillery . The first legal distillery on this island!  Is to begin producing handcrafted whisky this summer! This little island is popularly known for 'Calum's Road' a man made road built between 1960 -70.  The story of Calum MacLeod is a compelling one; there's a plaque placed on a historic cairn at a vocal point of this incredible road that states 'this former footpath to Arnish - a distance of 1¾ miles - was widened to a single track road with passing places and prepared for surfacing by Malcolm MacLeod BEM... He accomplished this work single-handedly over a period of ten years'. All available to buy on our website - now!

  5. Recumbent Cycling Jerseys

    Cycle Jerseys for Trike Riders

RECUMBENT BIKE CYCLE JERSEY You may have already seen that we're proud sponsors of Laura and Patricks Trike Tour Challenge; two Army veterans are taking their trikes on a 10 day tour - covering 518 miles!  All in aid for Veterans with Dogs and Help for Heroes.  You can get up to speed with the details here.  Well this event has struck serious interest from all over the world!  And we want to announce that we can produce cycle jerseys that cater to trike users, with a simple design template, we can manoeuvre the standard 3 rear pockets to sit on the front, where they'll be of much more use to the rider! The benefits of cycling for disabled people, are just the same as for the able-bodied folk.  It's fun, often a little competitive and promotes both physical and mental health.  In saying that, the benefits for disabled riders are a lot more significant and often aid rehabilitation.  Normal day-to-day exercise is not always an option for those with a disability and with that factor being out with their control, problems such as weight gain, muscle loss and poor circulation. With mobility meaning more than cost; cycling enables independence and social wellbeing for the individual.  The therapeutic benefits associated with cycling are (of course free), but include: personal challenges | goals, empowerment and exhilarating thrills.  And we want to be part of that experience! 6. How to order a Custom Cycle Jersey

    FAQ's

    1. Can you give me a rough idea of how much the jerseys will cost? 2. I have my own artwork. Will this speed up my order? Yep!  As long as the artwork follows our required format. 3. I don’t know how to do the artwork and have no one to do it for me. Can you help?  Of course (it happens a lot), as long as you can provide us with a rough drawing or word format with clear descriptions of your desired jersey. 4. How do I know which size to order?  Follow our guide here. 5. Will I see what the jersey looks like before you make it?  You will indeed!  We'll put your design into an email template, once you're happy we'll post a mini fabric sample over, just to double check one last time that you're happy with design and colours. 6. Am I restricted on what fonts I use or how many colours numbers I put on the jersey for digital printing?  Nope!  No colour limits - at all and if we don't have a supply of the font you require, we just ask you supply us with it. 7. Can we have individual names on each jersey?  It's another yes from me!  But it'll cost ya - only another £2.  We ask you to provide us with a list of the individual names as you want them to appear on the jersey and we'll import it to the design.  This avoids any errors on our behalf. 8. How long does it take to get custom jerseys made?  Turnaround time is around 2 weeks.  Although on occasion can be done quicker if you have a deadline to meet. 9. Will my jerseys’ colour fade when I wash it?  Nope, they're life line is eternity! (unless you take a dive  off the bike).  Sublimation means the ink is embedded so there is no such thing as fading, peeling or cracking. 10. Can you replicate existing designs?  Yes.  If you're moving to us from another supplier we can easily copy the design over into our format. 11. Can we exchange custom clothing?  Sorry, no we cannot do this as custom clothing is specifically made to order.

ABOUT TCJ

High quality digital printing technology has evolved over the years and we have the facility to utilise it to the max. So we use it unlike most others! Initially to produce our own cycle jerseys, mainly for races, enduros and just plain fun. Most of all we just wanted something different to wear on the trails that subtly whispered our likes and dislikes, our joy of the sport and desire to be creative with it.

Trouble is, we kept getting nagged for jerseys from friends and fellow riders......It didn't take much of that to realise there was a demand for these quirky and limited edition designs we were wearing, so it began to dawn on us that we should go for it. Go large. Thanks to the help and encouragement from the fine companies you see in the following pages, we finally got ourself together and brought our designs to the public at large - and created TheCycleJersey.com ...Read More
