Feis IIe - the Isle of Islay's Whisky Festival

3rd April, 2018 For over 30 years now, Islay has been host of the Islay Festival of Malt.  Held annually on the last week of May; when the temperature is just right and the man eating midgies are still at bay.  This Islay whisky festival calls upon all kinds of connoisseurs from all over  the globe. Islay is part of the Southern Hebrides and home to approx. 3,200 people and also resident to some of the most replenishing Scottish malt whisky distilleries including: Ardbeg, Bruichladdich,Lagavulin and Laphroaig.  With miles of beautiful beaches and a good stretch of road - you can't resist a good cycle if you're going to the festival - take on the Whisky trail -  (click here for Islay bike hire ). From tales of festivals past; the population of Islay more than doubles for the festival - the calling of music and malts is an irresistible thought for whisky pilgrims around the country. All distilleries will open their doors to the public for daily tastings, there's golf, bowing ceilidhs and Gaelic lessons and proper good music!  The festival will commence the week of May 25th- 2nd June. You can also pick up your very own cycle jersey souvenir!

ABOUT TCJ

High quality digital printing technology has evolved over the years and we have the facility to utilise it to the max. So we use it unlike most others! Initially to produce our own cycle jerseys, mainly for races, enduros and just plain fun. Most of all we just wanted something different to wear on the trails that subtly whispered our likes and dislikes, our joy of the sport and desire to be creative with it.

Trouble is, we kept getting nagged for jerseys from friends and fellow riders......It didn't take much of that to realise there was a demand for these quirky and limited edition designs we were wearing, so it began to dawn on us that we should go for it. Go large. Thanks to the help and encouragement from the fine companies you see in the following pages, we finally got ourself together and brought our designs to the public at large - and created TheCycleJersey.com ...Read More
