  1. Spring Classics

Gent-Wevelgem In this years 79th edition of the spring classic road edition - King Greg Van Avermaet came out on  top as his fight talk promised.  Gent Wevelgem is an annual road event held n March (one week before Tour of Flanders), based in Belgium - In Flanders Fields  and is popularly known for being a sprinters classic due to the flat terrain is the final stages. Tour of Flanders (Sportive) A popular one on our calendar, as many of our customer participate in this classic experience - battling it out on the famous cobbles.  This year (2017), is the 101st edition of the Tour of Flanders; and with that, comes some changes to the high endurance paced race.  The route is now a total distance of 259.9km, with 18 stages - progressively turning into short, sharp cobbled climbs. Paris-Roubaix A.K.A The Hell of the North - this event is one of the oldest and hardest.  The rhythm of this race is, up, up and awaaaay! Stages 21-29 are going to be nasty on the legs, with a nice 55km stretch of cobbled roads before a Velodrome finish. Amstel Gold Race This year marks the 52nd edition of the famous road race.  Starting at the usual spot  at the Markt Maastricht, the route takes many twists and turns around the country, featuring the Cauberg - three times.   And the lucky riders get to tackle all the steepest climbs on the way to the finale of the race, this endurance race is one to watch! Grand Prix Cycliste de Quebec A favourite in this office!  Last year King Greg Van Vermaet wasn't so lucky in this edition, coming second to Peter Sagan.  This event takes a different approach to the rest, as it takes place on a circuit that total 200km.  The route is testing as it's a constant uphill battle for the most part.  A great test for the World Champs though! Grand Prix Cycliste de Montreal This event is relatively new in comparison to the others; only beginning in 2010.  A single day edition, just like Grand Prix Quebec.  This too is held on a 200km circuit.

ABOUT TCJ

High quality digital printing technology has evolved over the years and we have the facility to utilise it to the max. So we use it unlike most others! Initially to produce our own cycle jerseys, mainly for races, enduros and just plain fun. Most of all we just wanted something different to wear on the trails that subtly whispered our likes and dislikes, our joy of the sport and desire to be creative with it.

Trouble is, we kept getting nagged for jerseys from friends and fellow riders......It didn't take much of that to realise there was a demand for these quirky and limited edition designs we were wearing, so it began to dawn on us that we should go for it. Go large. Thanks to the help and encouragement from the fine companies you see in the following pages, we finally got ourself together and brought our designs to the public at large - and created TheCycleJersey.com ...Read More
